Shooting jewelry is definitely one of the most challenging areas of product photography, or at least I’ve found that to be the case. It involves a huge amount of time and precision both when shooting and in post (Just to give you an idea of the work that goes into post production check out this post from photigy.com). I wish I could find shots of my set-up to share as it took a crazy amount of playing around with flags, mirrors, bits of card and reflectors to get the light even without being too one dimensional. 

 

Throughout 2014 I got to shoot with lots of gorgeous jewelry brands but today I’m just going to have a look at the shots I did for the fabulous Irish jeweler Natasha Sherling
